Trails Foundation Northern Utah (TFNU) builds trails that create a culture where all have places to walk, run and ride as they enjoy nature and connect with their neighbors in Northern Utah.
The mission of Trails Foundation is to plan, promote, preserve, protect, construct and maintain a network of public pathways, trails, and related open spaces for non-motorized users throughout Northern Utah.
Outdoor Adventure X has partnered with the Trails Foundation as one of two organizations chosen as the beneficiaries of the event’s charity raffle. OAX organizers intend to donate 100% of the raffle proceeds to charity, including Trail Foundation’s current and future projects that preserve and protect Northern Utah’s trail systems and waterways.
Trail planning and construction was relatively easy and quick in the early days. Today, each trail and pathway constructed has years of planning, advocating and fundraising before a shovel hits the dirt. Donations like those from Outdoor Adventure X provide funds to leverage larger construction grants.
“We are thrilled to partner with Outdoor Adventure X to promote trail etiquette,” said Aric W. Manning, Executive Director Trails Foundation Northern Utah. “We are proud to be the beneficiary of the raffle as this will help ensure TFNU can continue to support our mission and vision in Northern Utah.”
The TFNU leadership is also passionate about teaching trail etiquette and will join the Outdoor Adventure X Education Series presenting trail etiquette for those on-foot, on horseback, on bicycles and trail manners for pets on pathways.
